I have noticed from quite some time that my blog loads up very slowly. I have got the same feedback from some of my visitors as well
I have raised the ticket with my hosting provider i.e. GoDaddy many times, and every time they ask for a trace route for venukb.com
I promptly sent the traceroute and after checking the traceroute, every time GoDaddy’s response is same; The problem is not from our end !!!
I have never tried to ping my own site, today when I did try it out, this was the result:

I have been trying to ping from the past 1 hour and the result is same. There is a 50% packet loss and I don’t what the reason is !!
Who ever is reading this post, request you to ping venukb.com and let me know if you are also facing a similar packet loss.
Does somebody know how to find the root cause for this packet loss ?

I tried pinging google also, I am getting no response from that too. Not sure if it is some linux machine issue!
Vasu, if you are trying from office, you will not be able to ping. I also tried from my office, same result 🙂
I guess in a enterprise, the pinging is disabled 🙂
