Google Analytics Reloaded

Google, Tech, Tools

Just a few days back I bought licensed copy of Mint; the cute powerful Web analytics application. When I wrote about Mint some days back I also mentioned about the poor navigation interface in Google Analytics

Looks like I was not the only one complaining; Jeff Veen and Brett Corsby unveiled the new version of Google Analytics at the EMetrics Summit.

WhatÒ€ℒs different?
We’ve redesigned the reporting interface for greater customization and collaboration. This should make it easier for businesses and website owners to find and share the data you need to make informed decisions. The new version presents data more clearly and in context, so you can look at a single report to gain insights rather than having to pull up several reports to understand what action to take.

(By the way I was also wondering what Jeff Veen was doing after moving to Google since I wasn’t seeing any progress on Measure Map or Analytics πŸ™‚ )

The analytics accounts will be activated over the period of time and as of today the new version is available in Australia.

Checkout the demo for more details on the new features.

This one seems to load pretty fast than the old version

2 days back the new version of analytics was activated and it sure does look faster.
After hearing about the new version of analytics, I thought I made a mistake buying Mint

Mint is still much better compared to the new version of analytics and its a relief for me πŸ™‚ (I paid 30$ for “having a mint”)

    It seems a bit confusing πŸ˜‰ , I guess.

Shankar, I read my comment the second time and I couldn’t understand it. Edited the comment text πŸ™‚

And thanks for keeping a tab on my weblog. I too had added your blog on to my reading list some time back.
